Description
Adrenal Calm is an evening formula designed to support the physiological wind-down process and a healthy stress response in the setting of stress-driven sleep disruption. Its two dose-matched evidence anchors are L-theanine (200 mg), a dose aligned with randomized trials and a 2025 systematic review of 13 trials reporting support for sleep latency, sleep maintenance, and morning refreshment, and Sensoril® ashwagandha root & leaf extract (125 mg), the dose tested as the lowest active arm of a published 8-week randomized, placebo-controlled dose-ranging trial in chronically stressed adults. In that trial, perceived-stress and anxiety rating scores fell and cortisol, ACTH, and salivary alpha-amylase were lower versus placebo at week 8. Lemon balm (100 mg, 5% rosmarinic acid), passionflower (100 mg, 3.5% vitexins), valerian (100 mg, 0.8% valerenic acid, deodorized), phosphatidylserine (50 mg, from sunflower lecithin), and taurine (300 mg) are dosed for mechanistic contribution within the blend, at or below monotherapy trial doses. Chamomile-derived apigenin (50 mg) is included for composition and mechanistic rationale.
Recommended dosing is 2 capsules once daily, in the evening (60 capsules, a 30-day supply). The formula is designed to support adults with stress-related sleep-onset difficulty, evening difficulty winding down, burnout-related sleep disruption, and occasional sleep disruption during perimenopause, and to help maintain healthy cortisol levels already within the normal range. Adrenal Calm is the evening complement to Adrenal Support (morning formula): together the two provide full-cycle HPA support, with Adrenal Support addressing daytime cortisol resilience and energy and Adrenal Calm targeting evening wind-down and sleep quality. Adrenal Calm is not a treatment for anxiety disorders or chronic insomnia — conditions that warrant medical management. See the Clinical Monograph for full ingredient evidence and interaction guidance.
